Do I need cdrom.iso file to backup my database?

I needed space on my server's C drive. The cdrom.iso file was the largest file and I needed the space immediately. I copied the file to another drive and deleted it from drive C. My database program is working again but I want to be sure that my database backup will work tonight. Is the ISO file required for my backup? I backup to a HP SureStore DAT24 tape drive using the Veritas program.
