Does Symantec Backup Exec For Windows Servers , 10d include a single agent for Windows?

Have BEWS10.1d and want to purcahse anotehr Windows agent, our supplier quoted around £260 for the V12 Back-up Agent.

I'm quite happy with the V10 agent so was hoping I could pay less, and use one those instead of paying out £260 for what is most likely for features a will never use. 

Couldn't find anybody selling V10 agents but did find out that I can buy BEWS10 for £100, so can I just use the Windows Agent part from the BEWS10 and not install all the other bits and bobs?

v10 is close to end-of-life, so you will probably not find any serials commercially

You can, however try EBay and the other auction sites.  they generally have older serials availble

Late reply as I have not been able to login for some reason.

I've seen several Backup Exec for Windows on ebay, so, can I just install the agent component from the Backup Exec for Windows Servers? And just not use the rest.

sorry, you need a v10/v10d serial to "unlock" the capability on the v10x media server
