: ERROR: Installation failed with error 1603. GetLastError = :2

I'm using Windows UDS Server 2003 SP2

I am trying to upgrade the current install which is Be 12.5

Below is the log that gave the final error:

Thanks James. But my "GetLastError" is equal to 2 and not 0. It seems there is an issue with dotNetFramework.

hmm well i got told to try, uninstalling all the dotNetframeworks and  try setup again but you could also try restarting the server after uninstalling the dotNetframeworks and then reinstall them and try the setup again

Try to install .NET manually & then re-try the install

That fixed the problem. I had to dig deeper though to manually uninstall .NET.
