Exchange 2007 backup doesn't contain all the mailboxes

Can anyone help. My Granular backup of our Exchange 2007 server doesn't contain all the mailboxes, in fact it look like a backup of a snapshot last taken in Feb 2008!
Backup is to tape
Exchange has 45 mailboxes, backup has only 26.
The backup method is shown as 'Snapshot Full' yet I don't have the 'use VSS' switch on.
BE Version 11d 7170 sp4 running on Windows Server 2003 SP2 32 bit
Exchange on  Windows Server 2300 SP2 64bit

I'm confused, tried setting up diffrent jobs with same result.

Thanks
Peter

You can try to duplicate the storage group to a b2d and then see if all mailboxes are showing correctly
This can help with duplicate backup

And then from the backup to disk folder to which you have coiped data try the restore

And regarding backups showing as "Snapshot full"
As a mandatory setting all exchnage 2007 backups are snapshot backups
So in backup job even if you keep AOFO disabled ....alll backups of exchange 2007 will be snapshot backup
This is by design...microsoft
