Exchange Public Folders Not Backing Up

We receive the following error in the backup log:

V-79-57344-65033 - Directory not found. Cannot backup directory "Directoy Name" one error for each of the over 1500 Directories not being backed up.

We have 11gb Public Information Store & are getting to 1.7gb before it fails on the rest of the folders.

I looked up the event code and as advised I created a new user login and a new backup job without any success.

We are running a brand new Windows 2003 server with Exchange Enterprise Server 2003. It has yet to backup successfully. No problem on the mailboxes only the Public Folders. Any advice would be appreciated.
