As of BE12, it's apparently still impossible to export a Selection List
in the format expected by the import function.
While the following KB article explains how to IMPORT a Selection List, it fails to provide an example of how the file should be formatted:

It's rather simple to create from scratch. I found it easier to use the Selection Details as a reference, since I only had 50 entries to manage:
Job Setup tab >> double-click Selection List entry >> View Selection Details tab
and manually key in your Include and Exclude criteria into a text file in the following format:
[Selections]
PATH1=\\fqdn\machine-a\C:\windows\*.*
INCLUDE1=YES
SUBDIRS1=YES
PATH2=\\fqdn\machine-a\C:\windows\temp\*.*
INCLUDE2=NO
SUBDIRS2=YES
In the above example, we told BE12 to backup all folders, files and subfolders in C:\WINDOWS on machine-a
while excluding all folders, files and subfolders in C:\WINDOWS\TEMP
Obviously, as you add more criteria, be sure to increment the suffix for each set (PATH#, INCLUDE#, SUBDIRS#).
