I have an Oracle 9i server that lately has had trouble backing up the database. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I can get the backup to work sometimes by rebooting the media server and restarting the BUEX agent on the Oracle server.
Oracle Server
Windows 2003 Ent, SP2
Oracle 9.2.0.4
BUEX 11d Remote Agent
Media Server
Windows 2003 Std R2, SP2
BUEX 11d Rev.7170
Library-HP MSL2024 with single LTO3 drive
I was planning on installing SP1 this weekend, but not sure if that will help.
