Hi,

I'm using an evaluation version of Backup Exec 10. I"ve setup a backup procedure but I had the above error message. Even when I've disabled advanced open file option for the backup procedure I have the same error message "Final error: 0xe000fec2 - A failure occurred accessing the SnapShot handle." I have setup veritas backup exec several times and was successful. The only difference in this configuration is that the backup is taken on remote computer which runs windows XP. I try to install remote agent there manually and it was susses full. Backup exec is installed on an SBS 2003 server.

Hello Giannis

This issue could occur if the "Advanced Open File Option" license is not installed. Also if the backups are of a remote server, you will need to install remote agent on the remote server.
