How do you repair the backup exec database?

I'm using backup exec v9.1 and keep getting "an unexpected database exception occurred". How do you repair the database?

use beutility.exe to run a database repair.

If this still does not help, use beutility to recover the database from the last known good database dump.
(You will have to recover this bedb dump from tape first)
