How to assign tapes to a job

We have a MSL6000 Tape Library and 5 jobs created on veritas BackupExec. How can I make sure that only tape 19 to 22 are being used for a certain job (full backup for distaster recovery) and that the rest of the tapes are used for the other tasks?

The only way to guarantee that specific jobs use specific tapes is to "partition" the library. (from the devices tab, right click the library\Create partition) Think of them as virtual tape drives, either single drive, or pools of drives.

Then create a separate job for each partition and point it at the partition rather than the library as a whole.

Why not create a media set titled "Disaster Recovery" then move your two tapes into that media set with your append/etc set to how you need it. Then, edit your current job to where it only uses that Media set?
