How to use previous catalog Backup Exec 9.1

Have re-installed ver 9.1 on Windows 2000 server after drive crash. Want to know if there is a way to load the previous catalog of tapes without overwriting the current install of Backup Exec. Have backup tapes prior to install, but had some issues with SQL prior to crash which have gone away after re-install.

Unless you plan on restoring using all of the old catalogs, it may be simpler to just rebuild the catalogs you need.

- When you need to restore the data from the old tapes you first need to recatalog those tapes and then you can restore from those tapes.
