We are currently having a problem with one of our servers and must do a restore from the tape that is being verified but we need to stop it prior to completion of the verify process
Shouldn't have any effect on data already on the tape
All verify does is read the tape, compute checksums and compare them to checksums written on the tape. IF they match the verify is successful, if not, it fails
