Installing Agent for Microsoft Exchange Server

I have Backup Exec v9.1 installed on my Windows Server to act as the Media Server. I have a separate server running MS Exchange 2003 on Windows Server 2003 that I want to backup.

1. Do I install the "agent for MS Exchange" locally on the media server only?

2. Do I install the "remote agent" on the MS Exchange server only or both on the media server and the MS Exchange server?

Hello Ashok,

You need to insert the Backup Exec Exchange Agent licence number on the Backup Exec media server and the Remote Agent should be installed on the Exchange server.
