As posted in a previous thread, I am receiving the following error when initiating a test run:
Insufficient online or nearline media available to start job
No media online or nearline that can be overwritten.
I have created a media set and pointed to the set in my job, making sure that the job is not trying to write to scratch media as defaulted. The media section indicates that the device contains one 150GB tape, yet it can't pass the media check.
This is turning into a HUGE dealbreaker for the Company. I have been testing the trial version prior to purchasing and cannot, for the life of me, get any technical support from Symantec. If anybody here can help me out it would be absolutely lifesaving. I am ready to just ditch this whole thing and find another solution for our tape backup.
