Is there an easy way to save/export selection list in a job?

I've searched and seem to have found a very involved way to "export" the job selection data in cases where Backup Exec is being uninstalled and reinstalled on a machine. I just want to have a backup of the job selections that can be re-imported if problems are encountered during application of patches to Backup Exec.

Why does it seem Veritas reps who reply in here rarely pay attention to the question actually being asked?
