Kerberos Event ID 4 Logged Each night when backing up mail cluster.

Is there anyway around this error?  We have the backup setup to backup the cluster resources via the virtual server, and then backup all the drives on the active and passive nodes.  Because Backup Exec backs up one server twice via different names it generates this Kerberos error.  The backup does complete successfully but I'd like to eliminate this error from the system log.

It is definitely backup exec causing the error, as running a credentials check also generates the event.

Did you find a solution to this?  I am having the same issue.

Not so far.  We have another customer backing up a mail cluster who don't get this error, but they are using version 11D so it looks like it's version specific.

Thanks for the info.  We are upgrading to 12.5 next year.  Speaking of 12.5, if you purchase remote agent licenses, do they cover Hyper-V as well or do you have to purchase separate licenses, one for the regular remote agents and one for hyper-v.

...or maybe I should ask this in the 12.5 forum?
