Losing connection to Main HQ Server

Hi,

We have BE running on a Windows 2003 Server at a remote office, the backup job however has not run for a few days - checking the event log on the Server the following errors are being logged consistantly.

Adamm Database Error: Connection Lost!
Error = E_PVL_DB_LOST_CONNECTION
Server = "STS_NT1"
Active Node = ""
Instance = "BKUPEXEC"
Database = "BEDB"

Adamm Database Error: Handle Failure!
Error = ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE
Server = "STS_NT1"
Active Node = ""
Instance = "BKUPEXEC"
Database = "BEDB"

If you fire up BE on this server a message box keeps popping up and saying "The connection to the Backup Exec server has been re-established"

Anyone got any ideas why this could be happening, because up until last Friday it has been working perfectly.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

This issue could arise if C: disk is at or near capacity. You may need to
delete some files. This situation is being repeated regularly and it indicates that Backup
Exec is not able to perform with the lack of disk space on the system drive. We believe this is the reason why Backup Exec causes or returns this error. Therefore the first recommendation is to urgently free some space on the C:
Please perform a repair database. Open BEUTILITY.EXE from \program files\veritas\backup exec\NT.
Select All media server by right clinking, add the media server and select repair database from the task pane on the left.
