Media not getting move to vault status

hi,

Im trying to use the media vault facility on backupexec 10 to enable me to notify the tape operations team when to move tapes to the off site storage and when to return them for reuse.

I have created a media set and set the vault rules to move media to the vault 1 hour after it can no longer be used.

I run a backup and the tape is set with the correct overwrite protection, however, when I run the update vault wizard even after an hour, no tapes are detected to be moved to the vault.

Could anyone advise what I might be doing wrong?

Also, can you set the vault update to run automatically?

I've just answered my first question - The append period had not expired.

Could you advise on the second question regarding automating this job?
