NEW TAPE KEEPS GETTING EJECTED

EVERY TIME I INSERT A BRAND NEW 4MM DDS TAPE, THE TAPE DRIVE EJECTS THE TAPE. I TRIED "INVENTORY" AND THE JOB RESULTS STATED NO MEDIA FOUND.

HELP!!!

What kind of drive do you have? Mfg and model number
What kind of tapes are you trying to use?

Hello,

I would like to know since when this problem persists ?
Are you using Veritas tape device drivers ?
If not then you can download and install it from the link given below:

VERITAS Backup Exec (tm) 10.0 - Device Driver Installer (20050315) - Includes Tape Driver Release (20050115) and Robotic Library Release (45) (Intel Only)
