We have Backup Exec 9.1 on a site that we monitor. I have configured the backup software to send reports using the advise on this site, yet the email won't deliver.
I cannot send Test messages or Notifications.
I can send messages using outlook to the email address in question. I have used the same subject lines as used by Backup Exec so i know they aren't being blocked.
How can i see if Backup Exec is sending this message as it is setup to?
How can i trace the message? I get no sent item or delivery/failure report?
I have looked on spam assassin our end and the email has not hit our server so i take it that the mail is not being sent by Backup Exec.
We monitor other site using Backup Exec 10d, these are setup the same and all work???
