Hello,

How many servers are you backing up in this job? It seems you had tried to specify an alternate drive for the location of the cache file, yet the error persisted. Are you backing up the drive where the cache file is to be located in this job? If so, choose such a drive for the cache file, which will not be included in the job.

What is the size of the minimum and maximum quiet time specified? What modifications have you done there (if any)? If the problem pesists, revert with the details on these questions.

Thanks for replying priya

I am backing up 2 file servers in a clustered environment, but only one resports the error. \\nycluster1

I am not backing up the cache file, it is located on the backup server which is not backed up.

for the min and max the default was left, which is no disk activity 5 sec, and min quiet time 2000 sec

regards,
Al

Hi Amruta,
Thanks for replying.

Sorry for the confusion, BE AOFO has the default.

5 seconds for "number of seconds during which ther can be no disk activity before the snapshot is created."

2000 seconds for " number of seconds that thet application tries to obtain the minimun quiet time..."

I wil try to lower the quiet time from 5 seconds to 2 seconds as the article you have provided suggest. I will post the result as soon as Saturday.

Best regards,
Al
