Hi all. Here's what's happening to me. A user mistakenly deleted a file today, and asked if I could restore it for him. I said no problem...calmly fired up Backup Exec...found the file I wanted to restore from last night's differential backup...and restored the file. Only problem is, the file is from almost two weeks ago. This is a file which is modified on a daily basis by the user. The last full backup was run on saturday night without any issues. Three differential backups have run since then without issue. Using VSS I was able to get the user a copy from yesterday morning, but I would much prefer to get him a copy from last night as many changes were made to the file during the day yesterday. What could possibly be going on here? Thanks in advance for your help.
