I request your assistance. I have an Oracle database running on a Red Hat Linux server and a separate media server running Windows 2003 Server. I have sucessfully installed RALUS and I can backup the OS files on the Linux box without problem. While trying to Autoconfig the Oracle agent on the Linux machine everything went fine until it ask to enter a SYSDB user to access the Database but it always says that "The Oracle instance may be down. Start the instance and then try to login again"?? however the instance is already started!
I am using BE 11d. I followed the steps exactly as outlined in the Admin manual. What would you suggest I do at this point?
