Oracle server backup

Hi All,

Here  we are going to upgrade our oracle server's firmware. I need to take its backup via backup exec. I am having license of backup exec. But not sure how to use it.
I need best practise doc if available with snap shot. and steps how do i do this easily.
Its bit urgent...

Hi Jack,

Here is a link to someone who actually put together a step-by-step guide...I'd suggest reading through it and giving it a go.
Also make sure you have the Oracle agent licensed, and installed on your media server.
