Problems duplicating existing backups

Hello, I am having problems duplicating backup sets. I've tried two different scenarios with similar (unsuccessful) results.

I have a backup going to a SAN storage disk attached to the BE Server. I run a duplicate backup set job and choose my SCSI tape library as my destination. The job is constantly failing with either a media being read is inconsistent error or an error has occurred during translation of data.

If I try the other way of backing up first to my tape library and then duplicating that job to my SAN disk I get similar results.

Any suggestions on what I can try to resolve this?

I'm experiencing this same issue with 11d. The tape drive is a Sony AIT 200gb SCSI using the Symantec driver v5.1. on a Proliant DL380.

What's the resolve?
