RAWS Crashing with Exchange?

I just did a new install of 11D from ArcServe (CA is horrible). Everything seems to be working fairly well, but the RAWS agent on my DC / Exchange server is crashing periodically. The Event log doesn't show any unusual activity around the crashing times, and RAWS by default doesn't seem to dump any logs about what it's up too when it dies.

Is there a way to make RAWS dump better logs? I have the Service Manager auto restarting the service when it crashes, and this does generally allow an IS backup to be performed. I'm also running RAWS on about 5 other servers with no crashes yet.

Windows 2003 SP 1
Exchange 2003 latest patches
RAWS 11.0.6235.0

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Brendan,

Please install Hotfix 2 for the same and then reinstall the agent:

Symantec Backup Exec (tm) 11.0 (11d) for Windows Servers revision 6235 (32-bit) - Hotfix 2 - Multiple GRT (Granular Restore Technology) issues, DPM issue, & Remote Agent memory leak issue

Yes, in Tools | Options run Live Update.. HF2 and HF6.. After updating the media server then push the remote agents to update them. The agents and media servers need to be at the same hotfix and service pack.
