I have an issue with an HP shurestore 1/8 lto3 autoloader.
Im running BE 10.0
Win 2k3 std. Also hosts exchange.
We had a power failer and the server shutdown gracefuly, on power up it failed to start past appling settings. after 1hr I shutdown, power cycled the tapedrive and rebooted, server came up happy.
Backup failed gving hardware error, but BE could see tape and even resolve its name and showed as 'On line'.
event log shows 'RSM cannot manage library Tape0. The database is corrupt.'
I have stopped the RSM service renamed the files in %systemroot%/system32/Ntmsdata. and restarted the RSM service but still the same error.
Also front panel of LTO3 show ready and error light not lit.
anyone any suggestions I have 14 servers to backup tonight!
