Hi,
We are having some problems getting backup of a new server to function.
It seems that the agent on the remote server dies during backup of Shadow?Copy?Components. We can see other with similar or identical problem, but no answer to the case, so please help.
Backup Exec Version : 10.1(d)
Backup server : Windows 2003 server
Remote system : Window 2003 server 64bits
Agent : RANT64EX local install
Backup job log:
V-79-57344-65072 - The connection to target system has been lost. Backup set canceled.
System log on remote server :
The Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s).
Application log on remote server :
Faulting application beremote.exe, version 10.1.5629.34, faulting module beclass.dll, version 10.1.5629.10, fault address 0x000000000007375e.
Added updates : ServicePack 2 and Hotfix 43 - didn't solve anything.
Always happens when attempting backup of Shadow?Copy?Components, no other files seem to have this problem.
