Remote Agent repository on media server

Hi All!

We have installed BE 9.1.4691 and patched the media server with service Pack 1 an other patches (Hotfix 18,19,26,27 und 40).

With these Hotfixes we have pushed RANT32 Remote agents to any remote servers with central functionaltiy from media server (repository).

Our questions:
1) We found out that only revision 9 of RAWS/RANT32 is runing on remote servers after push!
2) We tried to install it local from remote media server - again revision 9! Should it not be revision 14?
3) How to update to media server repository to get the newest RAWS/RANT32 with push technology?
4) Is there a workaround or have we done the wrong thing? We have taken the technote descripted way.
5) Should any RemoteAgent be deinstalled prior to install the patched version?

Try to perform the silent install of "remote agent" by copying the "remote agent component" placed in the Backupexec directory :

C:\Program files\Veritas\Backupexec\Nt\agents\Rant32.





Perform the silent installation "RA" and check the version again.

Silent install doesn't work.

But just released ServicePack 2 fixes the problem!
Seems to be that it was a software bug.
Now push technology works (brings RA revision 35) !
