We have a client whose AD database has become corrupted and we need to track down when and where it went wrong. We have the tapes that we want to restore from the Shadow Copy Components --> Service State --> Event Logs. The question has three components:
A) When you restore these event logs do they overwrite the existing event logs?
B) Can you restore the logs to a temporary/alternate folder so they can be opened individually?
C) Are the "Event Logs" all of the windows event logs?
Any help would be appreciated.
