Restore Ejects Media prior to completion

When attempting to restore from tape (HP LTO Drive), the tape is ejected, and I am requested to mount the media. When I insert the tape again the same thing happens. I inventory the tape first, and it shows as being the correct media, however it just keeps on ejecting the tape? and ideas appreciated.

Does it eject the tape the moment you run a restore job or wright after you insert it ?

It's sometimes more picky than it looks with regards to the media. The best way to be absolutely sure is to:

Right click drive->inventory
Right click drive->catalogue
Select the drive. Right click the media found on the right hand pane->restore.

Choose your files from there. If you still have issues let us know.

I am having the same issue.

After I click RESTORE the tape spins up and immediately ejects.

I have done an inventory, but not a catalog. I will attempt that to see if it works.
