Restore from a tape

Hello, I was using BE10 and was wondering if there was a way to just pop in a tape and restore data from the actual tape? unfortunatly the company was not very organized about which tape was used when, and i need to restore something from a tape that is about a year old. Is there anyway for me to setup a restore job based on the tape? All i see to be able to do is select previously backuped jobs

Hi,
was the tape written with BE 10?
If yes:
Put in the tape, right click, take an inventory.
After that right click on the tape - select restore.
If that tape has been written with an old version of BE you have to update the catalogue of BE after the inventory of the drive.
