SQL concurrent queries?, exceeded by one

My BEWS 9.1 server runs OK for a few days, maybe 2 weeks, then it will fail with the following error. When it fails, it will run VERY slow and we miss the majority of our backups. It does not fail on the same job, or the same day or any pattern we can find. It has been like this for months and we just reboot and go on. There must be a better way! Do I need to adjust some setting that will give me more concurrent queries or what?

Hi,

This appears to be an issue with the MSDE 2000. Please ensure that user connections is set to "0". Please refer following steps:
1. Go to the Command Prompt.
2. Change directories to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Bin Folder on the media server.
3. Run the command: osql -S%computername%\bkupexec -E -Q sp_configure
4. Check that the "user connections" is set to 0, which is unlimited.

If above does not resolve the issue, please reapply the MSDE2000 SP3a. You may download the same from the Microsoft website.
