Schedule a copy job for latest backup and "Cancel pending" forever

Hello!

I have two questions about backup exec 9.1.

1. After my full backups have completed every friday I would like to copy the files to an external device. How do I set up such a copy job on a schedule, eg. a job that only copies the latest backups, not all my full backups to another disk.


2. I canceled a backup 80hrs ago, it still says "Cancel pending" - How do I get rid of it?

Hi Mats,

Can't answer the first question but possibly the 2nd as i've had this problem many a time before.

The way i have got around this is by stop/starting the BE services.

1) Set up a policy that will kick off a "Duplicate" job as soon as the backup finishes.
