SharePoint and Backup Exec 2010 R3 Ugrade

I have just upgraded from Backup Exec 2010 sp1 to R3 and have upgraded all agents on my remote computers.  When backing up my sharepoint server I get a series of errors similar to the one below:

V-79-57344-33925 - Error: WSS_Content_812f412e-692c-4982-921f-7411f1d50e96 is a component of a SharePoint server farm. It must be backed up using the Backup Exec Agent for Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server. Select it for backup from the Microsoft Server SharePoint Server Farms node under All Resources.

These errors correspond to databases in Microsoft SQL Server "SHAREPOINT" which now have greyed out boxes with a slash in them.  Prior to the R3 upgrade, all these were selected (e.g. blue check mark) and I had no such errors.  I have the agent for Microsoft Exchange Server.  But the above message seems to indicate that I need the Agent for Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server.  Are these two agents different?  and why do I need this agent now and not before?

Thanks

The Sharepoint agent is different from the Exchange agent.  You would need the Sharepoint agent to backup your Sharepoint farm.

The reason why you did not have this error earlier could be because you have the licence for SQL Server and is backing up the Sharepoint database as a SQL database and not as a Sharepoint farm.

Sorry - meant to write Sharepoint agent.  I followed the link provided in the previous comment and all error messages are gone.

Thanks
