Slow Backup Speed BE 12.5

Hi Guy's

I'M running Backup Exec v12.5 on a Windows Server 2008 32 Bit.

I'm Backing up Files From a Windows 2003 Server with the Backup Agent installed.

Now wenn the Backup Starts the Transfer Speed seems to be very good, but is dropping fast to 200MB/Minute wich is very Slow i think.

The Server that is Backed up is 5 Years old Xeon. Cpu load seems to be ok wenn Backup is running.

The Backup Server itself is a New Quad Xeon with 4 GB Ram. We are running Backup to Disk  to a External Disk Enclousre 6x 1 TB SATA HDD as Raid 6 with a HP P600 controller with 265 MB cache.
I've tested Disk Performance with creatfile from MS. seems to be ok.
The Network is Gigabith Ethernet wich i also tested with iperf and throughput is also Ok.

Anyone any Ideas?

This will help. Check the section on uninstalling the hotfix, but it's the same as removing anything out of Add/Remove Programs.

using Version 12.5 whos not mentioned in the doc.

additional i can say that verify and duplicate jobs from local disk to Local Tape working fine.
