When i doing the backup job for complete server (Windows 2008 R2 server with Exchange server and SQL), will backup Exec will dump/stage any data in local machine (windows 2008 r2)? or will it require any amount of free space in local machine? If yes, how that space will be calculated?

Backup Exec does not do staging at the time of backup. Backup Exec does the staging only in case of a restore of Exchange/SQL databases which were backed up with the Granular Restore Technology option enabled.
