Submitting jobs -or lack thereof

I have an existing job which is scheduled to run every night - that it does.

But I am trying to add another server to the job. There is a problem with this - when adding the server and clicking OK to submit the job, it just sits there and does nothing. You can click OK as many times as you like and it just sits there.

Another peice of information regarding this.

The only way to add or remove resources from a job is to blow away the whole job and recreate it. Its begining to be pain. The need the recreate the whole job, when you only want to remove a couple of individual files.

If no one can help me, we might just return the product and go with another company.
