Support for BackupExec 2012 Charity NFR license

Hi,

I am struggling to get an answer to a licensing query and have been given a number of different answers but none of them concise and all of them at odds with the last.

We have a Charity (from TT EXchange / CTX (as was)) NFR license for Backup Exec 2012

Howerver this comes with no support and no way to upgrade. (the upgrade not being a great issue)

Can anyone advise if it is possible to retro purchase support for the NFR license.

The price of the software was great however it is a real problem not being able to get support when there are issues.

Any ideas / pointers in the right direction would be greatly received.

Hi,

I doubt this...and NFR license means it should be used in a test/demo environment for instance.

Your only bet here is to contact the SYmantec Licensing department on the link below and see whatg they can work out for you:
