Just the standard questions. What does your windows event log say ? Any errors in the BE logs ? When you perform a non-scheduled backup, does it works ?

I did not receive any error, it is just when I came next day I noticed that the backup job is still running so I had to cancel the job.

During the Backup job stop any third pary applications or antivirus and then verify results.
