Unable to See Information Store on Exchange Virtual Server

We have a cluster environment with 2 nodes.

I have just upgraded both nodes to Windows Server 2003 SP1 and Exchange 2003 SP2.

The upgrade went without any problems and everything is running fine however when i now go into veritas i cannot see the information store etc to back it up.

This was working fine before the upgrade and i have attempted various different fixes from this support website and have attempted to restart all servers and reinstalled remote agents and nothing has made any difference at all.

NTBackup can see the store without any problems.

Can anyone help?

Hello,

Check if the following is useful

-(title) How to enable support for "Restrict Anonymous" when using Backup Exec 8.6, 9.x, and 10.0 for Windows Servers
http://support.veritas.com/docs/238618

Thanks

Hi,

Are the "Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers" services are running on both the nodes under LSA?

Try failover and see if the result is different.

Also make sure that you are using the right mailbox account to attach.

Thanks,

Hi,

Have you entered two Exchange serial numbers-one for each node on the media server?

Are you able to see Exchange mailboxes and public folders?

Does the account which you are using have "Exchange Administrator" rights?

Please go through the following document to check whether the Backup Exec account is configured properly to backup Exchange resources.

How to configure the Backup Exec service account to have sufficient rights to connect to an Exchange 2000 server

Did you get BE to see the Info Store via the Virtual Server? If so, how did you do it?

Had to enable Enable "Restrict Anoymous Support" on each node to be able to see the information store

HKLM\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\backup Exec\Engine\NTFS
