Suddenly the Unix agents node is no longer available under Remote selections. everything has been working fine until yesterday. A job hung when the Linux box was under heavy use. I removed it from the job because the end user was out of town, ran the job, everything is fine. Now the Linux box is back up and I need to add back to the job but there is no Unix agents available under the remote selections. It is available by browsing the domain under MS windows network. Any ideas? Can I select it via the domain list?
As you cannot see the unix node in the selection list , add the Ip address and the server name of the unix server in the host file on the Backup exec server and vice versa. Then restart the BE services.
