Updating a Remote windows Agent

I have two servers, one is running V10, the other V11. I want to backup data from the V10 box to the V11. When i push out the remote agent install from V11 to V10, i'm being told that it is already installed. However if i take a backup of V10 box from V11 box, the the job completes, but i get a warning saying that the remote agent needs updating. What should i do apart from updating both to V11?

Hi,

Are those two servers Media Servers?  If they are, then you can not update the Remote Agent only, you will need to update the 10d server to version 11d. 

You still can continue backing up the 10d server with the 11d server, the only thing is that you will get the error message always and will not be able to fully use the new features implemented on 11d while backing up the 10d server.
