VMWare template backup impossible

Hello,

With Backup Exec 15 and vmware 6.0, the backup of vmware templates fail systematically with error in attached screenshot.

All others "standard" vm's are finely backuped.

Have you a solution / elements to check for backup the vmware templates ?

According to the below article, support for Template Backups with ESXi was available in Backup Exec 2014 and as your error message is an access denied message I am not sure your issue relates to templates or permissions to where the templates are located. As such you should  carefully check that the user account has full VMware administrator role access to the templates (and to the datastore the templates are stored in) Of course being templates I think you have to enable the option to backup powered down VMs and also disable GRT (at very least disable Application GRT)
