I'm a newbie to the whole "vault" process. I'm somewhat frustrated by the lack of any good documentation as to it's concepts and any implications.
Any-who...
It's my understanding that vaults are great for long term storage of media. They allow you to create logical groups of media, and apply overwrite protection to them (am I close?).
My big question is, when I move media to a vault - does it somehow "protect" the catalog information. If this isn't the case, it would mean that I'd have to re-catalog the media after the returning the medai from the vault?
