Version 9.1 to 10

Hi There,

I wonder if someone could please answer the following questions?

In the past we have had a lot of problems backing up our Netware 6.5 Servers using V9.1 Due to the GroupWise Post Offices, We are looking to go from version 9.1 to 10.

Does Version 10 of the software handle Netware/GroupWise Backups better than version 9.1? Also does version 10 come with a newer version of the remote backup agent for NetWare?

The Remote Agent for NetWare delivered with Backup Exec for Windows 10.0 is of a newer version.

With this new remote agent, you can backup open files from NetWare servers - a feature which was not available in v9.x.

However, to backup GroupWise files, you will need the GroupWise Target Service Agent (GWTSA).
