Does anybody have any information on a fix for the a0008445 HEX (0xa0008445 HEX) or e0008445 HEX (0xe0008445 HEX on Windows 2003 Server? The support knowledge base doesn't have anything.

Thanks,
Mark

Hello,

You can refer the following technote:
The error "The media operation was terminated by the user" (a0008445 HEX or e0008445 HEX) occurs during a backup.

This is for Backup Exec 10 Rev. 5484. I don't see where the Enable Automatic Cancellation. After looking through support knowledge base, it doesn't seem that there is a selection for this on 10.

In BEWS 10, auto cancellation was moved to the "Priority and Availability" section within the job.

Hello,
yes as stated by Tundra, auto cancelation was shifted to Priority and availability under tools -> options in 10.0

Let us know if that helped you.
