We have changed the administrator password throughout the network(W2000) and have also chaned it in the corresponding services including BackupExec. however backup does not seem to want to work. any ideas?

you should modify the password of services account in the backup exec by the services manager (double click the icon in the down-right corner,left to your BE server name) and logon account management (select network,logon account in the main menu).

Hello Nicholas,

Does your problem with the admin password persist? Have you followed the modifications as suggested in the previous thread and made the modifications from Network- logon accounts?

Do update at the forums if the issue persists.
