data deduplication with BackupExec 2010 and tape library

Hi all,
I'm trying to enable the data deduplication option on my just installed backup exec 2010.
no problem with the option installation, the problem borns when I try to configure the option "Deduplication Storage folder". I get the error "deduplication option is supported only for 64 bit media server".

is this a problem of my server hardware or of the installation of backup exec 2010 ? I've updated it from 11d version.

any help is appreciated

I believe it means the Operating System on which you have BE2010 installed must be a 64-bit OS.

 To use the integrated Dedupe, you MUST have a 64bit Windows 2003 or 2008 server.
If you use the appliance dedupe from ExaGrid or Quantum, you can stick with a 32bit OS.

Oh and a 64bit OS is required for Exchange2010 as well, or Exch2007 on 64bit too...

There are minimum requirements for BE that are different than older versions, I suggest you read up on them.
