e000847c Backup of System State fails

Using BE 10.1 5629, having read the knowledgebase.

The Media Server fails to backup the SystemState of one machine. All other machines are backed up ok. There is plenty of space available on all drives. The machine is connected by BE as an domian admin, so rights should not not be an issue here.

Noteworthy:
The log has this entry: Datei ist ge�ffnet : \\ORTLER\System?State\Registry\software
In engish: "file is opened"

Any idea?

Thanks for the RTFM-answer, however this is what I have already done. There is enough space on the drive and permissions are no problem here.

May it be that a registry-scanner interferes here?

Ditto on the slightly sarcastic answer.

We have the exact same issue. If we back up the "System State" by iteslf it works. If we do it in a large job--no luck. It happpens to be the "System State" of the server that Backup Exec 11d is residing on.
